Growing up with a large Italian family, Mary’s passion for the food industry began at an early age. With Sunday dinner’s being a lifelong tradition for the Cumella family, Mary learned to make fresh mozzarella and pasta from her grandparents at only 6 years old. Ten years later, Mary found herself working part-time in many family & friend owned restaurants throughout Brooklyn, NY.
After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in 2016, Mary opened a Private Chef company, Ginger & Spice Co., that serviced all of the Tri-State area, allowing her to continue her labor of love. But the journey did not stop there. After moving to New Jersey, Mary worked in several fine dining restaurants, such as Summit House and A Toute Heure to name a few.
As a result of all her hard work and success, Mary is now the General Manager, directing all front and back of house operations, as well as managing regular dinner service. With a background in event design and planning, Mary also supervises all private party planning and execution. She is a key contributor to Fascino’s stellar reputation of exceeding customer expectations, and we are very excited to welcome her to the team!
